If turbo Yamahas are really "that great", why do there seem to be so many of them up for sale?
Edit: I've driven 3 turboed Apexs, never owned one though

Now's your chance!
I think it's partly because them turbo guys have the money to upgrade and they want the newest chassis.....Nytro.

A lot of them are moving on to different or bigger Boost systems.
I could ask you the same question about the 07 XRS which was according to you and all the Doo guys, The Bomb.
One difference I notice is that the TApex's are selling, the XRS's haha good luck.

Most of them are going with a new Nytro. Some are dealers selling one all set up to make some $$$.

Im building another turbo just to sell it. Like stated above, i like the building aspect of it. Riding it is just as fun but i have a habit of buying new sleds every year. Yeah, it expensive but i enjoy building them i think more than anything. Usually lose some money in the end but thats the game you play with any toy.

so we can hear you guys whine and post like this. who cares. why does every guy who has an 08 xp, or a dragon 800 sell it and get a year newer model?? to get a new sled, and new hardware. Some of you guys will never quit whining, will ya??

some guys sell the yammi because it's too heavy and they don't like it. Is that what you wanted to hear. I heard something about back surgery, wah wah wah or something like that. bout a typical response from a whiner.

James, you bought a new sled yet??

Because they just had to start making the payments on a $20,000 loan.

I doubt most of us that actually own the sleds, have loans on them:beer;

I think they are selling them because they are overated. I mean really, who likes 240+ reliable HP?:rolleyes:

Maybe it's because they learned how to ride and don't need all that power to make up for their poor skills!!

LMAO Come on now!!! Not hard to point it straight up but that is not what everyone does

Lets see you ride a turbo really well

It takes a lot to handle the power in all different types of riding

It's called upgrading. I'll bet most are going to a newer Yamaha that they will turbo or supercharge again. Back in 1992 the Prowler mountain cat was the be all to end all sled. By your logic that would be it, no reason in ever replacing from there.
