Idaho Turkey hunting

Ok so its official. Turkeys can read!! I drew on a controlled turkey hunt in eastern idaho that starts on May 1. I cut riding short to scout as much as possible. We have seen some big toms and a few jakes. BUT, they are all on private land.

Anybody on here in eastern Idaho who would let me come on their ground with my son and take a tom in May??

Seemed to have that same problem above Spokane, we could hear them but couldn't call them up off the private land.

Hey I am from IF too. I was riding two weeks ago up in the Big Holes....about a dozen crossed the the trail in front of me. I have wanted to do the same for a long time....hunt them suckers.

We have scouted around Fall Creek, Heise bottoms all the way to thorton and around rigby.

We have been able to call them and talk to them and get em to move closer and decoys have definatly helped but its tough to get them to jump a fence and walk across a pretty heavily traveled road.

I am hoping to find some private ground that we can put the decoys out on and have a shot. We have three tags to fill! This is the first time I have drawn on this tag so I have to harvest!!
