Want to go riding tomorrow 1-8-09 either out of Idaho city or outside of Banks, Crouch ect. I have a four place enclosed and a 2009 M8 if anyone wants to tag along or meet somewhere

Just an fyi... drove through Crouch, Lowman, Mores Crk and Idaho City today... was 35-38 degrees the hole way from the bottom of the hill to the top and raining. With all the rain I'm sure avy danger is high. There were a couple rigs at Mores Crk and Woopem Up and they were blowing the parking lots.
Went to Mores Crek and Whop um up today it was snowing all day and raining in Idaho city. I would say they have a 6-8 inches of fresh Heavy snow. Thanks for the info and if anyone would like to go riding give me a call. 360-720-1280 Joe

Gary reports that the trails are icy at low elevations, however are grooming out quite well at the higher elevations.

Club website updated 01/28/09 Trail 8 from Whoop-um-up to the Middle Fork of the Boise River was groomed on Jan 22 for the first time this year.

Grooming and Slide at Mores Creek Summit
Grooming reports are updated on Boise Club website
While Grooming the Mores Creek Summit to Pilot Peak
area the Groomer was buried by a slide and had to be shoveled out
to return back to the parking lot so be very careful AVALANCHE DANGER
is high in some areas

The Groomer has been repaired and is back up and running.
It will only groom on the weekends at night for the rest of
the season.
