I'd like to hear the good news!!

Never been so happy brappin...Feels like a modded sled outta the box. The new products out there for the AXYS aren't just cool add-ons this year, they are practical works of art.

Riding one of my IQ chassis I loved for so many years feels terrible

I let the wife ride AXYS when we ride together to help per-sway me getting another one next year and dump the old ones entirely. I think it's working ;)

Absolutely the best sled I've ever riden. Not even close. Almost regret ordering boost. I can't imagine what a weapon this thing will be next weekend with the turbo...

First off thanks for this post. Some of the reading I've been doing lately was negative enough to have me second guessing my decision.

I like the way it looks sitting in my garage. I like the ergonomics of the sled and overall skinny feel.

Now today I reclutch for 10,000-12,000 feet because no snow here and leaving for CO the day after Christmas. Can't wait to ride this thing for the 1st time and doing it out west is just a big bonus.

To me it took a few rides to dance with this baby. More transfer then the pro ...but not too much and very predictable. Installed a 36" front end before my ride up Eagles and really see what all the fuss is about, made the sled even better.

guidoxpress nice looking sled , how do you like that zbrozs bumper?

The zbroz front bumper is awesome. Fitment is as expected from a great company and quality of welds and design is great as well. The wrap around design makes it perfect for different angles or for having a buddy help lift at the same time and no crowding. Plus the built in skid plate..LOVE IT.

I have the zbroz rear bumper on the way right now also with their tunnel bags. Will post back after that but I'm expecting the best as they always deliver.

Guido, how do you like those off-set spindles?

The ZRP spindles are pretty trick. I got the 39" zbroz arms for stability cause I've liked that stance for many years and cause it's more stabil when the wifey rides (trails mainly).

Since I did not care for the stock AXYS spindles and I felt they had a weak spot it was a win, and only option lol. The offset allows you to go to 2" narrower (plus adjusting spacers will get u narrower). So can get 37" But still get the stability of 39".

I did have to slightly trim the inside of the spindle with the zbroz arm to counter full suspension drop and the spindle hitting the arm when turning. But after trimming it turns crazy sharp!!

PES (on the forum) is a supplier for the spindles (and other great products) and will get you setup if u wanna try them out. I love them. Looks trick, and super practical with a sick design/concept

I think there will be some people who struggle with the Axys. It has amazing transfer, almost too much at times. You have to get used to how different it is than the Pro. Once you initiate a turn, you have to come back up or it will just want to turn out. Very little effort in wrong foot forward efforts. It doesn't take much. I ride it like a dirt bike using my thighs/legs to turn in the deep. Lightweight folks will love the ease of rolling this sled around.

Man, this thing is a Billy Goat when it comes to climbing!

I agree. I weigh about 205 in street clothes and I have learned to only go wrong foot forward in steep sidehill situations. Other than that, keep a foot on either running board and use your legs! I'm thinking about going to a 36" front to see if I can get it even more tippy.

Also, this weekend I was sidehilling a very steep hill and went to split two trees, not being used to the sled I over corrected and came back the other way without getting to the up side of the sled and nosed into another tree. I rolled it over and got it away from the tree and in to the sidehill. I started it and went to take off, did the wiggle and pin it to get moving then turned it straight up and continued on with the climb gaining speed the whole way. it wasn't bottomless powder, but I was VERY impressed with the power and the track catching traction instead of trenching. It put a smile on my face :face-icon-small-win

I'm 5'4" and 130lbs - geared to 2.25 and with 36" stance up front, my confidence on this Axys after three days in the mountains far exceeds how I felt on my '12 Pro after four winters riding the same areas.

The floatation, power, and response are phenomenal!

Good---motor, plastics, light feel,

Bad -- Trenches in deep powder and pulls snow over and dumps in front of the track like a older m8 Cat. Track is too stiff and attack angle is to blame.

Too much transfer for climbing, much better by tightening the limiter strap 3/4"

Fun sled just needs some set up to get the most out of it.

Test rides are expensive.
Guys can't sell the old sled quick enough.

The xr200 drives everywhere the 450 goes it just handles clunky/heavy has less power.
The pro isn't remotely in the same game as the axys.
Separate the men from the boys.
I think it's hilarious too.
Laughing in my helmet all the way through the trees.
