Yeah, thanks a bunch for the info....it is appreciated. I'm thinking of riding up that way this weekend. With fuel costs so high, I hate to drive to Brundage for a day trip.

Groomer?

rode pilots sat and on the way down saw a groomer heading up on a truck.
Did it get fixed?
I am assuming that with the slush conditions it would do more harm than good to groom at this point.

johno you are correct, the second engine they installed appears to be a good one. as much as we wanted to get it on the trails and try it out it was decided to put it away for the summer. late season now and very little money left in the groomer fund after replacing the engine. we will be planning to do some trail cleaning in the fall. we usually do it with four wheelers, chain saws and branch loppers. i will post it here when we decide on a date if anyone would be interested in helping just let me know.

spring ride

three of us rode from woop em' up around the little owl loop today, it was a beautiful blue sky day with go any where snow until around 2 o'clock. crooked river trail was rough and the south slopes were bare, but little owl trail was in pretty good shape still.
