Keep your sled cool.

We used a new design to hold snow on the tunnel, while having an ability to still mount another LinQ bag on top. Light. Aluminum. You pack it with snow, then put your bag on top.

It gave us a lot more range on the trail without overheating. Very effective in cooling the sled, as others in our group had overheating problems until they could get to the good stuff.

We are making a few more if anyone is interested.

This picture has two ice boxes mounted on top of each other. I never tried it on the trail with two, just with one and then mounted a bag on top.

Who is "WE" ????

I remember Ice Box Pro, but it held VERY little snow. This unit "Looks" like it holds quite a bit more?

The design we came up with is a simple frame. Can't say if it holds more than the other design, but maybe? Seemed to last about 20 minutes or so before all the snow melted. Doubling up the boxes as in the picture would give you more time.

Or spinning the track off trail would work. Or just turning off the sled and letting it cool works.

There are times when I only have a mountain sled and ride mostly on trail with others that like to stay on the trail. So the ice box is a great way to go. Turned out better than I expected.

Cheers.
