I90 Snowpark reports

Did a ride last night and Today at Crystal springs. Rode out of the Snowpark and plenty of snow down low to ride on the road. About 2 feet of fresh pow, no base and pretty much broke trail all day. Awsome first day. Didn't dare go off trail though. Met a fellow snowwester to ride with. Nice riding with you Mark! :beer;:beer;

Oh ya, It was extremely cold. Probable 10 degrees. At least you dont get wet in those conditions!

We road Kachess Lake today. Not nearly enough snow... unless you love the road. It was great to get the new sled out though.

Is the parking lot cleared to where you can get in and out without 4wd or chains? What exit do you get off to get to Crystal Springs?

Did you expect enough to get off road already???? It will be awhile before it is ridable off road.

If you have ever seen baker lake hill during the summer--you would not believe what we are riding over on that hill--WOW---them stumps and rocks are HUGE!!

Rode out of Crystal Springs at 10am up to radio towers. At least 25+ rigs parked in the lot. For the most part stayed on the roads unless I was on a real familar trail. Busted Powder down the roads on the backside of the hill. Nothing like 18 - 24 inches of fresh untracked bliss to drop work stress away. Plus throw in a deep snow drift or two in the middle of the road to blow through and WOW!! Great first ride! :beer;:face-icon-small-ton:beer;

51 Miles at Stampede, tried to ride down to Lester, but got really thin about 4 miles before so we turned around. Hit one tree and so did my buddy, but nothing but bark rub. We got a good 3-4 miles of breaking trail and snaked this whole pow field which was rather gratifying.
