I used some anodized scrap, with SLP material, held on by a super thin spray coat of Red "High Tack" Gasket Sealant, sprayed on the metal, and then gently layed down and smoothed out the SLP materiel. And strips of Gorilla Tape on the inside for insurance.
First sled I used rivets, second I used SS button head hex Bolts to nylocks. 1400 Boondocking miles, no tears or failures.
To those who did their footwell vents, did you cut out the stock slits flush, or did you leave the lip that rolls to the inside? I want to leave the rolled lip for strength, but have not worked out how to attach the vent after wards.
