i want a turbo......

im 14 and when i grow up i want a turbo apex or rx1 or nytro. i would want to know everything you have in these yamaha and how much money you put in them. if you have pics please post them.
oh do you always have to tinker with them or can you just get on and ride it

yes you have to tinker and yes lots of money a kit cost 5000 and set up the motor right is another 5000 not to mention the sled cost or 10k

They can be quite expensive for sure. I'm into mine for over $30,000.00 cdn already and I can see another 8000 to 10000 being spent before I am done.
Now keep in mind that this is just for parts as i do most all of my own wrenching.
I have a mc express kit on a nytro and in over 1500 miles the only tinkering that I have done was dial the boost control up for more boost.

wadup bro. im 16 and i got a supercharged apex. i had it when i was 15 too. they are tons of fun! but expensive and they do need care. im tryin to sell my supercharged apex and buy a MCX kit for a differnt Apex. here is a pic of my apex right now. keep on dreamin about boost. make it come true!

If you really want one its not a bad time to be in the market. they are expensive to build but you can find them for around 10,000. thats half of new and turbo and they usually have some extra goodies. As far as tinkering, they dont take any more than any other sled. you can run them and put them away but eventually that will cause you problems.

there is an apex in the swapmeet for 9200 with an MCX 290 kit on it right now.

its a GREAT time to be looking for a sled.

no, im a lucky, son-of-a...yamaha dealer. it was my mom's sled for half a season but she hated it. so it was handed down to me. but i have put a few grand into it.
