I want a 2nd sled - thinking a 2012 pro 600 155

Wondering if my factory running boards will work on the 600? I have a turbo being built at Vohk right now on my 2013 and ordered the snow check with burandt boards so my factory boards I'll get back.

Thoughts about the pro 600? for the cash it would be a great 2nd sled and for my a gf to ride when I want to take her out.

I really wanted the 2013 163 but can't justify spending 12k especially after spending $20k on my turbo.

Great sled I put 1800 miles on my 2012 600 pro, only had one problem last year I went through one pipe sensor other than that it was pull and go.

Yes they will (boards will fit 11-12's) and you would be amazed at how mcuh fun you will have with that 600. Around here, many are going with Carls Cycle 660 Pro's as their primary sled. Tight tree riding, and lower altitude's (3,000-6,000) and hucking, smakcking trees, you know the fun stuff....it's amazing how much easier they are to throw around even though they are only 5 lbs. lighter.

I'm guessing you're riding quite a bit higher elevation so the power difference will definately be noticeable but on days when conditions aren't 18 inches plus fluff and maybe harder, crunchy snow, the 600 (or much better 660) will be funner in the trees than your turbo.

And it's always nice to have a wicked fun, cool back up sled when you have a turbo.

exactly my thought

I want a backup to ride when a turbo isn't necessary or just to roll out. I have a line on one for $7k (212miles). figured it would be a nice backup and still tons of fun. A good practice sled too

What does carls 660 set up cost? wonder what alpine and vohk could do to it to make it a little more punchy

600s are great! 600 twins are much closer to being a square motor, so last much longer than bigger twins, and their inherent vibration/imbalance issues. Better mpg too.

The Carl's clutch kit is 1900 and includes big bore, ECM reflash, and clutching. If you don't want to spend a lot you could do PA 13.6 head and Carl's clutching. That kit costs 625 and will boost power for high elevation riding.
