I have a '14 Pro RMK and I'll tell you what, I got on my old '09 RMK 600 144 the other day and I couldnt believe how much I still like it. Two seasons on the Pro, and in the majority of conditions I ride in the PNW, the IQ is just plain better. I'm talking a fair amount of trails getting to the good stuff, and Cascade concrete style powder. I am sure if I lived in the land of dry champagne powder the sled of choice would be the Pro, but not here, for me anyway.
Another bonus is lifting the hood and being able to access most everything easily. I've been missing those days.
Next year I think I will build a custom Axys Pro 144. Maybe even a 136. You know, like the factory should have done. Gotta have the bulkhead cooler though, as I am sick and tired of running hot. I think the biggest issue for me is the mountain sleds, especially the Pro, have gotten too specialized. Fine if you live at the base of the Rockies and never see a trail, but that's not where I live......
And no, I will not have another crossover- they don't do anything well....
