I think his real issue was trailer being too short. If he could have balanced that load a bit more he would be gone! Then we would have been able to see the bridge pics with a combine stuck under it.

I wouldn't think that with a double drop that combine couldn't be more than 15 feet tall. I was a trucker on a harvest crew for 3 years, hauling CIH 2388's all over the place, and we were just over 15 feet if I remember correctly. As for weight, I'd bet 15,000 lbs. at most.

length doesnt matter..as long as the load fits.a spread axle might, but he would need a bigger truck,pintle hitch, and dual tandems.looks like 5,000 lbs axles on that trailer aswell.
I was joking. If he had more trailer in the back he could have backed the thing up and taken weight off the truck. Hence the -->

he has 2 acres of wheat he wants to use it on. he is on his way back with a 1 tone and a goose neck. trailer is still tall though. so bridge pics still could be on the way.
My money is on him taking down a power line before hitting a bridge. Can't wait to see pics...
book say it is 10000 pounds, it is 13 feet tall, well its 12feet and some change but 13 foot to be safe. can take more than a foot off if you take the tires off.

the head im guessing was around 1500 pounds bc my tractor did not like lifting it. but h got it home safe on the trailer.
they cam and got it!!!!
as fas as i know they made it. they took the a/c off and let the air out of the tires. they were very close to 14 feet.
