i need a combine moved from wy to ut any one??

its a jd 95, no head just the combine.

form casper wy to st george ut it is about 690 miles.

his half ton would not carry it.

book say it is 10000 pounds, it is 13 feet tall, well its 12feet and some change but 13 foot to be safe. can take more than a foot off if you take the tires off.

any truckers or brokers on here that can help? is there a site i can go to that would help?

Try Uship

It works pretty well

most ushippers have no insurance or mc number etc. be very careful with that website. To get it moved in a decent time contact a broker.my rate at lowest is a 1.95 per loaded mile with fuel surcharge.bullfrog123 might be able to help out.funny thing is I was just in utah, but am taking a load back to omaha.I usually try to keep my truck out of that area as deadhead usually kills me out west. matt

btw, it might need to be moved on a drop deck or removeable gooseneck due to its height. most dual tandem hotshot flatbeds still sit at 32-36 inches in height with just 16 inch wheels.

It's the united states custom harvesters inc. Maybe you could put a post in the classifieds or discussion boards looking for someone to haul it. Probably have to wait for a little bit though. Those boys are probably picking corn like nobody's business right now.

I'm still laughing at the picture. What made him think he could haul it with a half ton? Look at the box right around the back of the cab! LOL

What's that thing weigh? 15-20k?

it bent the class 5 hitch and the receaver too. the tires where just tuching the ground in the front. it had 33in tires in the back and 235s in the front for more hight, i new he was not leaving with it but i tried any way.

You're right... but I've noticed that there are more legitimate firms using it to fill in. With the right equipment...;)

yes there are, but most of the general public does not verify insurance and mc numbers via fmcsa. I could show you a dozen carriers on u-ship that there insurance is expired yet they still run.i checked on one that had insurance that expired a year ago....but still claims to have it...

You'll probably need a double drop with that height. You'll be at 16Ft with a DD which is still tall and routing in Ut is a nightmare.I guessing a rate of about 2000.00 to 2500.00 on the low end.Summitone maybe able to help. And BTW thanks for the 1/2 ton pic I'm going to use it in our driver orientation of What Not To Do!

I would have loved to see the head on the ladder rack too, LMAO!

Any idea on weight? What a riot.
