I have a weird noise

Hey guys my 2013 m1100 t started making a funny noise yesterday I only hear it when I get off the throttle and its idling down to a stop I sounds like the sled is making little backfires or something is sounds like it coming from the intercooler area I don't think it has anything to do with the drive train coz I can kinda hear it when I just rev it up and let it back down with out moving. If anybody has heard this please let me know I have hood off right now and I do t c anything out of place. Sled has a 2.5 sandale thanx

Mine hasmade the noise before coming from the exhaust but only after cruising down the trail, chalked it up to the new exhaust doing it, was told not to worry

Mine started making the same noise when the exhaust gasket between the turbo and the up-pipe blew out.

Thanx sure enough the gasket was blow out

Mine was doing the same it was the exhaust gasket on the turbo nit to bad to change.

I think it's not a bad idea to check those bolts every once and a while
