Couldn't agree more bonz.......

My buddy dated this gal for 2yrs and booted her to the curb.... Kicked her out of the house with no where to go. We stayed friends, and ended up hooking up..... 11 yrs later we are happily married and trying for kids... My so called buddy got all pizzed off, needless to say, we are no longer friends.

I think the key point J-Roc, is if you and her are happy, then ur bud should be happy for you, a true friend would be. JMHO....
 
In regards to the original topic.

There is plenty of fish in the sea, why go down that road. Wouldn't it always be a point of contention or always a issue between friends and or family?
 
Man, I am glad that I'm married. Those days of being single and putting up with all that dating b.s. and games are just memories now....some worse than others.
As far as the guy and gal goes. Just stop beating around the bush (take that as how you want to :eek:) and just tell tell the guy. If he doesn't like it then it will be his problem. If you really like this girl and see it as something that can be long term, who cares what he thinks. For his own good, He needs to move on anyway.
 
I'll accept that......Addiction no,,,,That's Bunny girl, Fendi Bags and Christian Louboutin Shoes....She thinks I can play cars and trucks and she can play clothes, bags, shoes, and jewerly......Hmmmmm,,, which is more pricey........GTR here I come!

has happened to me..take him out for a beer..set him down and just say..hey..sorry things didnt work out between you ..do you mind if I take her out?..is that simple...
 
Alright boys, so I called him last night. Talked to him for a bit, then just owned up, and asked what he'd think if I asked her out on a date. I figured it wouldn't be real easy, and it wasn't. It didn't sway my decision at all, and if anything, I feel better because it's out in the open now, so he'll have to either decide to hate my guts, or not. His choice.

Obviously he wasn't too mad, though, because he called me later on to go help get his pickup out of a tricky situation, so, I went and helped, to try and be the "better man" or whatever you call it....

Thanks a million, guys, and, yes, I can actually see this turning into something great, and hopefully long term. We'll see.
