Do you need to run race fuel with the 860 kit at elevation of 8000 feet or higher. Ive also been debating on which kit to get.

Not unless you want to, John will set you up for YOUR altitude and fuel type. YOU just have to be honest and realistic when you tell him what you want. I run 8500ft and up, I don't trust 'pump' fuel, I blend 2 gals of avgas to 8 gals 91. I run a 14:1 head.

I can relate to the perma grin. Today was a good day on the 880 (not a SHR). 55 mph track all day long. The ability if so desired to wheelie walk for 100 yards off flat ground. Amazing what a little motor massage can do to these sleds.

They are awesome engines but come on. This is unrealistic. Flipping over backward on a flat?

Totally possible. If it wasn't for a rear bumper and flap, they will flip if you pin it.
