Not really, when your mormon overlords sinch up their Angel pants and get pissed for posting about titties, beer, azzhole-little dick mods, fawkers of the world and any other crap then ban hammer drops. Just glad the old tables turned for something you feel is right. Cheers fawker

Yes blitz. There was a time not long ago, here on snowest that mimics Chris' delema almost to the tee!!
To think that Chris was banned by a Facebook version of a snowest mod is almost enough to forget about it all. And to think, that person that banned Chris has a boss that doesn't care to look into the situation to see if that ban was even valid!!!!
Untill you realize that face book is free and snowest ain't. I dont know what has brought the new rules and lienacny to snowest lately. But ive seen many users banned for posting the same things that ive seen many of the mods posting lately on here with no formal excuse of the new found lieniancy. Chris' ban makes me laugh and him posting his delema on here makes me scratch my head...... Welcome to a world littered with moderators with agendas chris!!! Glad you finally made it to the party.

Kind of a double-edged sword.
If you dilute the content in the summer with off-topic material just to keep the users up, the dilution is still there in the winter watering down the sled specific information which I think would diminish the value "in season".
There is a guy over in the truck section debating about which leg to auction off so he can upgrade his truck. Otherwise I think users have other interests this time of year which keeps their sled attention greater when the weather changes back in the fall.
Possibility that more attention should be focused on the winter month attendance as I have seen (only my opinion) the quality of content dropping off there in the last several years.
If you question the appropriateness of any of the content, click the little report button. Or are you complaining that in the past it wasn't allowed so it should be set in stone that it never is allowed?
Not sure why anyone would pay for this site. Anything after 100 posts becomes speculation and argument... Its as silly as paying for ****.

Look, every place has its rules.
They want SnoWest to be FAMILY friendly.
So there are limits on what you can post about, but the WHERE you post it is just as important.
There is a WHOLE LOT MORE leniency about what you post if you put it in the PRIVATE FORUMS or in your own PRIVATE SOCIAL GROUP.
My issue with FaceBook is that I HONESTLY don't think that meme violated any of the rules I agreed to.. I was VERY surprised that it triggered such a response. But right now it is pretty much TABOO to say ANYTHING at all negative about our Islamo-Jihadist Muslim Attackers on FaceBook. There are SO MANY PEOPLE I know getting banned for even touching that topic.
On SnoWest the rules are simple.
No Nudity.
No Vulgarity.
No Attacks on members or companies.
Keep the site ****-Free and don't get into Pissing matches, and for the most part, you can have a great time. And no one gets BANNED around here without knowing its coming. And if you do get Hammered, you can reach out directly to any number of Mods or Super Mods or Admins or even all the way to the Corporate Overlords with their Angel Pants!

I personally think that Snowest is pretty lenient on some of the content and BS that is posted compared to some forums that I'm a part of. After being on some other forums and seeing how members are treated vs when I came here, I was pleasantly surprised. I always attributed it to the fact that there are fewer members here and due to the law of percentages, less whiners 
I have honestly tried to give you guys MORE rope over the last season so you do not feel so constrained. I asked for permission to lighten things up and was told to proceed, so I did. There are still rules and guidelines, but there is room to blow off a little more steam at the same time and just have fun.
The IRONY of my being banned has NOT escaped me!
As for Moderator Agenda's.
If you honestly feel like one of my Mods has it out for you or for some topic that is near and dear to your hear, then make sure you tell me.
in general, before anyone gets the ban-hammer, we discuss the post as a group of 5-10 mods and vote on a course of action. About the only time the Ban-Hammer is dropped unilaterally is for obvious SPAM & ****.
