For several years I have been eyeing these 2 chutes. Some of you will recognize them. They are just south of double hill. Today was my day. I finally have the sled that could pull them. What a rush. The picture sucks but I went up and out of both the left one and the right one.
Man I love this sled.

Congrats!
That is one Gnarly hill and when it goes it goes BIG. I'm sure you've seen all the huge tree's snapped off like toothpicks. This is the only time of year they should be approached.

Pretty sweet! They look steep! Looks like the snow was decent today. Your sled is dirty! I love the all black look.

I have seen those slide and I knew in normal snow conditions they were dangerous. With the snow the way it is I knew yesterday would be the only chance I would have to hit them.

The pictures dont do it justice to how steep they really are. The snow was allot better then I thought it was going to be. We even found some powder in the trees from friday's storm plus we didnt cross a single track from other people all day.

Those are some awesome hills. I love riding that area, but haven't been for a few years. Where did you park to access double hill?

We parked at the gold hill turn off. There were a few spots of mudd on the way back but not much.
