I remember when I hit 100 in Jan/Feb.

I seen them elberstocks in Eastmans huntin journal, they seem to enjoy them too. is it comfortable? after your big elk hunt

I like it cause it compresses down to a day pack and works well for smaller loads, but then expands out to carry out animals etc. It doesn't carry a really heavy load very good, but I have a dana for overnighters that does extremely well for those really heavy loads.

I have the 2800 badlands, it worked good when we had to pack my bro's big horn sheep out and still have all our gear.

He is going to buy the Sitka pack that is 3200 C.U. inches I believe. He doesn't like his Badlands anymore, plus they have that new optifade camo he loves

Tell him to look at mystery ranch. Those packs carry a load better than any other. I know sitka has a great name, but nobody builds a better pack than Dana Gleason. Seriously, they are amazing.
