I caughtmy very first Muskie last night

Last year I pulled out a 47" out of Halsteads bay. Was pretty fun and the biggest fresh water fish I have ever landed.

6mile you live next to a great muskie lake I have a few buddys that fish it all the time 3 or 4 over 50"

I need to get out there soon

I was going to say it looks like Lobster Lake. I have a cabin on the north end of the lake I have alawys wanted to try muskie fishing on in. The locals say there some big ones. I guess there is.

I'm heading up there tonight for a long weekend. Except im staying at lake carlso state park with some freinds. may have to make it back to lobster one day to fish it.

Yep, but I seem to get skunked there all the time. walleye's are not to hard to find, but Muskies have eluded me. Tonka has been good to me in that regard.

I did pull up a small muskie in the fish house this past winter, put him back to get bigger in the years to come.

Hands finally healed up after grabbing that Muskie on the wrong side of the gills.........

i know how you feel. about a month ago i was going to pick up my 44" northern and i was slideing my fingers up it gill plate and he rolled opended his mouth and grabbed my thumb. got 3 punctures on the thumb and 1 on the other thumb when i tried to pry his mouth open. i know atleast 2 of the teeth went right to the bone. pike get new teeth in the spring and they are razor sharp. about 3/4" long. i was so pumped i just kept casting and i had blood every where.
