It's out of an L29 trainer jet.

A million is too much for a jet these days, a few grand get you one in Russia:)

You need more motor!

Couldn't find an old Pratt and Whitney TF30 motor? Quite a few down in Arizona stuffed inside those F-111s and F-14s, at least the Tomcats that haven't been shredded. Sure it would use a little more JP4/8, but you may find the extra ponies worth it. Good luck to you on your project.....

A guy in AZ a few years ago put one on a Chevrolet Caprice. Hit the canyon wall about at about 220 mph (300 kmh). Very few recognizable parts left. Make sure you have your medical card in a fire and impact resistant case!

But all derailing aside, what's the story??

I know of a V-Max 4 here in Sweden where a guy strapped in a jet engine from a helicopter.

Not familiar with jet engines and their construction (jet principle aside) but I think there was a hydraulic coupling on the driveshaft. For a jet engine to make the rotors of a chopper turn I guess there must be some mechanism that converts the jet thrust to rotational force somewhere.

Basic design principle for your Alpine?

A turbine chopper uses a gearbox, my jet engine relies on good old thrust so no gearbox needed. I'll be putting the jet in my truck and testing a few things out - then I'll start the sled design process. it'll be very redneck and stupid.....makes sense right.
