HWY 88, IRON MTN, BEAR RIVER, HOPE VALLEY 2011

RODE IRON MTN ON SATURDAY. SNOW WAS CRUSTY BUT THERE IS ALOT OF IT. SHOULD BE A GREAT BASE SET UP FOR THE REST OF THE SEASON. I SEE SOME SNOW IN THE FORECAST LATER IN THE WEEK TOO, SHOULD BE NICE.

I JUST WANTED TO START THIS THREAD UP AND ANYONE WHO RIDES ANY OF THE PLACES THROUGH OUT THE SEASON POST SOME PICS OR SOME INFO.
IF YOU HAVENT RIDEN AT IRON MOUNTAIN CHECK IT OUT PRETTY SWEET STUFF WE CAN GET INTO OFF TO THE EAST OF THE RESORT. AND ITS FUN TO PLAY ON OLD SKI RUNS ALL DAY.

Glad to hear somebody has been up there. Any pics of snow conditions? Been looking at the weather and hopefully these next couple storms will bring some good snow.
Was the base deep enough to start boondocking?

Finally got to go for the first ride of the season at Iron Mtn. Conditions much better than expected. About a foot in most areas. Some of the north facing slopes had a foot and half. Snow still in the trees so it has been cold. Hopefully the next storm will bring some more good snow.

Yeah, Iron Mountain is setting up well. Make the longer drive and access off of Highway 88 though, access from Sly Park/M.E.T. is rutted out and frozen big time....

Hit Silver fork to I.M Last week pretty rutted up from the wheelers!was awsome in the trees plenty of base but with all this rain its a BIG SLURPPIE RIDE!come on snow!!!!!

The wife and I hit Iron Mountain today,tree rideing was awsome!!!! just the right amount fluff to practice P.O.W turns!!! threw some paint on em for chrismas.......bling bling.......

Went riding on new yrs day at iron mtn! Was so sick 3-4. Foot of untouched! Should be good up there all week! Chuck I like the murdered out paint job! Let's go riding one day this week or weekend

sleds look real good with the new paint. hey chuck i think i found the fix for the oil light. i called polaris they said reflash the com and should fix it. so whenever u get a shot call me swing in in the sleds and ill reflash them. its no big but if it bothers u let me know!
be up there again sat hope we get some freshies
