Spent 2 fricken hours chaining trucks up before the first one made it out of the yard this morning. Did Eastern Washington weather migrate over here for the winter or something. This sh*t is getting old.
I-90 and 405 are in good shape if this was canada
Western Washington is turning into a bunch of whiners....
whats really bad is all the coffee stands are closed everywhere!!! even in bellevue!!!

I left the house @ 4:30 this morning to drop my wife off at her place of work in Monroe and then watch as she uses her badge to get into the lobby.
I get to work 15 minutes late in Everett, turn on my phone after a short time, and I have 4 messages on it.
They're all from my wife and her boss desperately trying to get a hold of me because the plant where my wife works was shut down for the day and no one bothered to tell her.
I guess she set off the alarm in the plant when she went in too.
So I get back in my truck and drive back to Monroe from the plant in Everett, meet the wifey at her plant, pick her up and now we're and back home for the day.
We might have to knock the dust off the sleds today in the neighborhood.
I'm not heading back out to work now until the 5th of January.
And I might even have to take that day off too since that's my birthday.
Ohh...the weather..sorry, that is what the thread is about isn't it!
The snow let up, for now, and so did the wind (finally!)
I-5 and Highway 2 are solid ice and snow but I 5 northbound at 6:15 this morning was like a beautifully groomed trail at Fish lake in the dark!
No other cars near me and 55 MPH!
Kinda surreal

Call me twisted but as long as trees aren't crashing down on my property I'm diggin the heII out of this.
We actually are getting a real winter for a change.
It feels like I'm livin' in Eastern Washington but with more English speaking people!
BTW...This new truck with the studded Wintercat tires is AMAZING in this stuff!
Partly sunny/cloudy just outside chelan with 14", no base. 9 degrees.

Workin' today!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAH!!!!!! Roads were good. Seems like everytime this happens, the stupid crowd takes a couple of days to figure it out and stay home. Drive north was smooth and steady.
