How to tell what wattage PIAA lights are?

I tried a ohm meter to measure resistance so i could back figure watts but it doesn't show any resistance on my meter.
Any other way to tell?
There the ones that look like the trail tech halogens.
Like these except they have blue colored bulbs and PIAA written on the lenses.

If it's a PIAA 005XT, it takes an H3. This is the closest looking housing to the picture you posted. Take the housing apart and the metal bulb base will be stamped with a wattage.

If it's an 1100X(I have a pair on my sled and love em), they are a sealed bulb/lense assembly and are 55w. I'm pretty certain anything with this type of bulb will be 55w.

Most small driving lights are sent out with 55 watt bulbs. For one, 55w is street legal and even though they are all sold "for off road use only", we all use them on the street. Secondly, in such a small housing, anything over 55 watts creates too much heat, which shortens the bulb life dramatically. PIAAs dissipate heat much better than most because they use thick glass lenses and most are metal housings, but higher wattages will still result in shorter bulb life.

Hope this helps.

Yup i think they are the 005 XT's. That sucks cuz those are only 35W bulbs and i need a total of 100W so these lights wont work. Too bad cuz i had a line on a set cheap.

I wonder if i could run these and a resistor that the guys use for the headlight deletes that would make up for the 30W to get me to a 100W load?

H3 bulbs are cheap, just pick up a couple 55's and you're good to go.
