does anyone know the easiest way to do this? i was thinking of just removing that bracket that holds the upper bushing but there is such a mess of wires and hoses on the exhaust side. thanks.
It wasn't very tough, I have the 09 M8 standard and bought the adjustable risers and changed it out. The toughest part is getting 2 long socket extensions and getting in between the track and the bulkhead to unscrew the nut on the bottom side of steering post.
i'm an arctic cat newbie... just wondering if i need to take off the gas tank to get the post out of the upper bushing. or is it easier to take off the piece of aluminum that the bushing is bolted to?
i removed the aluminum sterring support for mine becasue its bent, but otherwise its easy after you remove the top two bolts and the one up under the tunnel it will slide up.
