How to buy a used track

Hey guys, I need a new track for my sled. When looking at used tracks, what should I be looking for or asking?

Just in case, I'm looking for 144x15x2 - 2.52 pitch. I could also do an extension to a 151. Send me a private message if you have one for sale.

Thanks for your help,
Tim

Tracks are pretty easy to figure out...
1 - No torn lugs
2 - No broken cross bars (if they are broke you'll most likely see torn paddles too)
3 - Worn track clips or track guides, rubber missing from getting hot
4 - Damaged driver teeth (the numbs the drivers push against)
5 - Paddles bent over at a funny angle

That's about it.

Thanks

Thanks for the good information. That will really help out.

One more quick question. I've come across a tracks that are ported. I get why people do this, but it seems like this would shorten the life of a track.

Would you recommend stay away from used ported tracks?
