how not to counter-steer/powder turn.

Mental note.. DO NOT let your rails get filled up with snow.. If they do.. stop and kick off snow DO NOT stand ontop of snow covered rails, and try to powder turn/counter steer..

Result... Foot slides off rail mid turn, since your already leaning and pulling, your weight pulls your leg back into track..

Nuff said.. bye bye winter..

(sigh...)

I've just about did this very thing a few times. I can see easily how it could happen. I hope for a speedy recovery for you.

ya running boards, I usally stand on the very edge of them cause it has grip that goes both ways (the rail part), vs standing with my legs right next to the seat since the grips there don't stop my feet from sliding forward.. oh well. lesson learned.

What ??

I'm no doctor buy where is the crack or broken bone.. All I see is a big ol' gorilla foot. Look's to be a high ankle sprain, Possible a bent up vagina, It look's fine get on and ride that's the only way to recover.. In all fairness take advantage of the pain killer's, and get well soon...:beer;:beer;:beer;:face-icon-small-dis

Thanks for the razzin though, I can't wait to get back out there. If this would have happened in say.. April/May.. I wouldn't have given a crap...but Feb.. I'm out for 6-8 weeks. Hmm Guess that just means more time on snowest as a keyboard sledder. hahaha.. maybe I'll start a couple Doo vs Poo vs Cat threads to keep me entertained lol

Ok genius snowest Drs, who wants to explain why he didn't flex his foot up on the 2 frontal views? And for a nice cold beer pic, what is on the rt side of the x-ray that doesn't show the break very well?

Wow, I never thot about riding the rails on a turn. Now I'm glad I didn't.

Where'd your leg end up to twist that break?

Put a little duct tape on it and get back ridin:D

Well, because he can't. :face-icon-small-coo

As for the 2nd... I'm guessing you're referring the break being masked by the tibia? Not sure what you meant...

That sucks, I broke mine in the same place. My break was mostly straight across the bone. I was out for 7 weeks and got my 1st ride on sat. I still shouldn't be riding.
