How much upgrade are the 07 spindles ? over the 05 spindles ?

I can get a pair of 2007 spindles for 50$ , how much of a upgrade are they from a 2005 RMK ones ? or the 2006 ones ?

And are they easy bolt-on in a 05 sled ?

I can't tell you how the 2007's are but I put 2006's on my 05 and that was a huge improvement!!! I would guess the 07's would be even better. It sounds like it would be $50.00 well spent to me.

07 Spindles are the same design as 06, an improvement over the original 05 design, but still not very good. You should be looking for some 08-10 spindles, they will make a HUGE improvement for you.

Yeah, 94fordguy is correct. The 07 spindles are actually the same as the 06 spindles. The difference in 07 was that they (Poo) moved the mounting location on the ski itself back. I would look at the 09 spindles with the lightweight cutouts.

Beware, if you upgraded to 07' spindles you needed the longer 07' upper a-arm bolts. stock bolts were 1/2" to short. really pissed me off when i was near done the job.

The Holz are the newer geometry.

I put 07 spindles on my 05 fusion. It takes a ton of effort on the bars to turn it. My wife's 05' fusion with stock spindles is like having power steering compared to mine.

Do you have to change the ski stops as well ? I dont know what gives but thus far these spindles have ruined my sled.
