How Much Longer Can The 800's Dominate

Yes they do. The air is thinner and therefore there is less resistance when lifting. My 1100t feels like a PRO at sea level when above tree line between 11-12,500'. Very flickable.

That's just due to the absence of oxygen in your system...you become hypoxic....euphoric....

Someone needs to grab a Honda 1000cc or Suzuki 750cc and put a turbo on it. Awesome power and reliability. They already have the engine in the Sport Bike world. Could push 200HP easily with the 1000cc and 170HP with the 750cc. Just my best educated guess based on the bikes I used to race. Not heavy engines either.

I'll bet they could make a triple two stroke......

With new technology that would be light enough. In the past engines like the Thundercat were built heavy, with counter balancers and overbuilt because weight was no concern. It seems to me a triple is smooth enough. Take a new design and lay it down like the M sleds and in a new design, it could make 200 sea level hp. and be under 500 lbs.

It's been done by powerhouse customs in Revy. Air shifted CBR motor.

I would guess more then you think. Pretty much all of Colorado riding areas are 10K or above and many of the places in Wyoming. Then add in the fact that many of the riders from the midwest states ride in CO&WY and the number adds up pretty quick. Eric
Thanks! I appreciate the answer. Wimps (flat landers) like me have a hard time with 10,000+ feet. :noidea:

Don't forget clutching. Apex runs at 10,500 but gear reduction has the clutches at 8,500. Added weight for gear reduction to keep clutches/belt alive.

Sounds like an Apex? :noidea:

And not very smart. That one pound less it weighs from being further from the earths masses I promise you don't not feel. Look up what hypoxia and euphoria means. That's why you get the hard on you think your getting up there at the time!!!
