how much less snow this year than last year

McBride and Valemlount areas probaly less than 50% of what they usually should have by now. In my 25 plus years of riding there probably the worst year I can remember.

I'd guestimate less than half of last year in the mountains surrounding Kelowna. Big White Ski Resort is now around 170cm base. Usually this time of year they're well over 300 cm.

We have a fair amount i think close to normal aroung P.G. but it hasn't been a great season not like last year seems its mostly been snowing at warm temps, spring conditions just about all winter kinda sucks we did have some good pow too but not as usual.

depends where you go, the McGregors are loaded with snow this year, but then if you check out the pine pass it kinda sucks there. Funny, they're not that far away from each other

That is true for sure it is a weird winter, last year was better powder wise though i just hope all the snow sticks around for a bit longer there is lots around here but it needs to stay cold for it to stick.

thing about mcbride it got spoiled last yr... hard to keep up with that. i remember rolling into mcbride for my 1st trip of the winter dec 07 and the locals were saying best snow in 9yrs.

but fosho the levels are down everywhere :(
