How much boost?

I have a 2008 dragon 800 with a BD turbo, mini-intercooler, ebc. Garret 2860. Wondering does anyone know how much boost these turbos should be capable of on this sled? I am wondering if I have a boost leak. I am riding at 10,000' and last time out I turned it up. Set 14 lbs in the EBC and was only getting 13.5lbs. Am I just maxing out the turbo or do I have a boost leak. FYI I fully went through the sled before the start of the season and only have 400 miles since putting new intake boots, exhaust gasket, exhaust donut, ect.

Its pretty normal to see a half pound or so less than the set boost number when you recall the stats on the boondocker box. Mine is on a Cat, but the max recall is always just a bit lower than what I set the boost at.

Maybe I will have to set 15 lbs and see if I get 14 lbs. Are you running a 2860, if so what s the most you have ran?

the turbo can run plenty more boost, just up that high your mostly just heating air to create pressure with it.

also, sewer cap turbo inlet and downpipe outlet. add pressure to a boost line, start fixing things till it holds pressure. you will be amazed how much better they run with 0 leaks.

10-11 is the highest I have run it at altitude at this point. I have been pretty happy around 9 lbs up high on my Cat 800. I would need heavier weights to push it any more.
