how much boost on Tvector

I read the posts from people about the boost question. everyone is saying that if u put the right gas/race fuel, you can run up into the 20's for boost.
But can a vector with stock engine and just head shim run that much and be safe?
I was told that Crazy Dan D couldnt keep his vector together. Anyone know why?
How much boost have you run with your vector on a stock motor?

I use 100LL and 15 lbs, with a head shim. I've used the same boost with 94 octane, but I just don't trust the fuel from gas stations. With a properly setup turbo system 20 lbs. or less will be very reliable, over 20 and you're asking for problems on a stock motor.

15lbs with a gt 25 250+ 15lbs with a 28rs 260+ on the dyno sheets i have seen.i ran 2 years on stock rods at 16-17lbs no probs at all rods were fine when changed much higher i would recomened rods ,but you could spray some meth to help keep cylinder temps down & eliminate deto for sure.

I have been thinking about putting Meth on it. I have run 17lbs on mine with c 112 and its a blast. Who doesnt want more?
how many more psi can i run with the meth on it? i have no idea how it even works.

watermeth help reduce cylinder temps & eliminate deto so the more meth you run the more boost you can run for a specific octain.say you run 112 now you can run 100oct for the same boost levev & it will make more power at the same boost level now with less oct.ever notice how your header glows cherry red when on a long pull, with too much heat you loose power especially with back to back pulls, allot of motors go from this.when spaying meth your header does not even get red so less heat more power no deto

no, i got the 26.
for the price i should buy one of them kits off Alpine, sounds like its worth it. I have had header problems with the header and down pipes from them getting so hot

you should look for a used 28rs with a .64 a/r exaust housing you would be shock at how much more power it has above 14lbs boost.
