come on guys i am not bashing just want to hear real results polaris sold the h---l out of the pros so there should some high milers by now?

2500 miles on mine...extreme abuse, full throttle all the time, deepest winter in 10 years here in Alaska. I adjusted my oil pump a for a little more oil flow also.

My crank bearing went at 400 miles. I took it to the dealer on monday because my left shock collapsed and it was fouling plugs. He just called me and told me my compression is sitting at 110/115, and he noticed the oil adjustment was set 1/8 inch too lean(i never touched it). Hes going to dig into it tomorrow. UGH!

Im at roughly 1200 miles now.

thanks guys it seems like roulette with these 800s sux my old 05 king cat has 4000 mountain miles on it right now with not even a fouled plug just good routine maintenance i think i trust it more right now and that blows lol

check your oilers. the factory sets them too lean. my buddys went down at 640 miles with a bad rod bearing.

Scares me too!

I have two 2011 pros. One with 600+ miles and the other one has around 1500 miles. Zero engine, primary clutch spring, engine mounts, pull rope, belt, etc. issues. Maybe I am not helping you much. But I do share your concerns.:face-icon-small-coo

I sold my Pro to TGitt on here with 1400 miles and he has been riding it all winter and has had zero issues as well. I never touched the motor.

For as many Pros that have sold you don't hear or see posts talking about how the Pro 800 is garbage because it's not. I snow checked a 12 Assault and I will snow check a 13 Assault. I am not worried one bit about the reliability of the 800 in the Pro chassis.

I havent hit 1500 miles on my 11 yet but its never been back to the dealer for any warranty work..sled has been flawless....

thanks everyone don't get me wrong my pro has been awesome no clutch issues no motor mount problems nothing but gas and oil best out of the crate sled ever bought and i have owned 15 sleds in 35 years of riding my daugter even sold her m this year and bought an 11 pro just because mine was so awesome to ride last year she took it to fairview one day last year while iwas out of town when i got home she had her m1000 for sale

I know of 4 2011s around here. None of them have had any issues. Dealer 2 hours from here sold like 25 last year and has had none back yet.

No issues with the local 2012s either.

sleds burned out

we have sold many pro rmks over six of the 2011s have over 2200 miles on and not touched, we did have one injector go out on one with 2500 miles and scored the piston,
so far the 2012s we have out prob only have arround 1000 miles but so far no issues on any pros we sold, one with tps but for the percent sold and ones we had issues with the pro rmks are great percentage of none failures
run polaris oil, and keep exhast valves clean and do regular tune ups and they should run along tim
also put a quart of blue oil in gas tank for break in

and TURN THE OILER UP....needs to burn 1 qt in a tank of fuel...adding oil to the gas does not lube the crank since the injectors are in the transfers and point up...

its summer in utah right now this winter sux last year 1009 miles this year 225 my warranty is wasting away setting in the enclosed trailer

i ride with six guys that ride pros,3 11s and 3 12s,absolutly zero issuse with any of them,i would not hesitate to buy one,:face-icon-small-hapsweet machine

I ride with 7 of them and 2 of us bad lower pto rod bearings go out around 1000 miles or more. not worried about it being a big issue. seemed its a lack of oil.

This right here seems to be key factor to longevity IMO. More oil.

I believe Pol is/has to sell them using so little oil to pass emissions... They won't admit to them needing more because then they'd have to make a change (increase oil usage) and have an engine that won't meet emissions.

Maybe I'm just a bit disgruntled due to a dead engine due to lack of oil...

1200+ miles, engine untouched, second season, and she runs as good as ever. But all this talk has me a bit worried. How difficult is it to turn up the oil pump? I may do this, as mine is a bit stingy on the oil usage.
