How Many Miles on Your Axys RMK's/SKS?

bought a new axys 163, went to parking lot 4 times, it started and ran for two hours the second trip....would not start and run the other trips...dealer after each trip, never found the problem...i need dependability more than any other single thing...gave it back to dealer, bought different brand...no problems:face-icon-small-sad

You "gave" it back to the dealer?? How does that work exactly?

Its too bad you didn't try another dealer, sounds like to me they have no idea what they are doing.

dealer one of the best to my knowledge....gave the sled back, dealer refunded total cost of the sled

what dealer? I know Carls here in boise will take your sled to the mountain and ride it or will take you riding to figure it out.

1100 on my SKS, but in fairness, we had a low snow year in the northeast, so most of it was trail riding. Still ran like a top all season. No issues, other than tight footwells. :face-icon-small-fro

I think I have around 1000 miles. First 500 were great, then I had a power loss issue. Spent the next 300 miles trying figure it out. I couldn't figure it out, my dealer tried swapping just about everything and finally a polaris rep figured out the injectors went bad... Anyways I got a few good rides in before the end of the season.

Dealer also had to replace the primary clutch due to roller wear.
And the track from testing it on low snow conditions repeatedly. Thankfully polaris warrantied it since the dealer was the one running it in the parking lot trying to diagnose the issue.

I also tweaked the rails a little bit right in the beginning of the season(jumped a creek and landed on ice pack) so I replaced them with iceage rails. Also installed avid antistab drivers since I was having serious ratcheting issues.

Overall when it ran good, I loved the sled. Hoping for a decent year this year!

Seeing some clutch roller issues. My understanding that the P-85 was just about maintenance free. Just blow it out with brake clean and air. Don't usually hear about p-85 issues, Loosing comp rings? Rings breaking and taking out cyl wall? TPS needing adjust? A-arms? How much of a hit is taking these out?

Ive got my first poo sno checked waiting on arrival.
Axys 800 le.

Maybe we will see an aftermarket solution to the roller issues (hint hint, someone), I know there are "high torque" rollers available for the TRA.

Would it be possible to have the rollers on needle bearings? I'd also suggest putting your weights on a gram scale and making all 3 exact.
