How Many Miles on Your Axys RMK's/SKS?

Off topic but I think polaris will have a new ves oil this year, let's hope it's better for the exhaust valves

600 miles on 155/2.6. went in at end of season for low idle. updated to latest flash and haven't had chance to ride since. Was extremely happy with sled outside of low idle.

At 1000 km (621 miles) Polaris did a top end rebuild on my stock 163 3" at least it was covered under warranty but I have to say I'm the only person I met with problems

Friend of mine wore his motor out until it had low compression and the dealer rebuilt the top end. I am curious why did yours have to get rebuilt?

They said they couldn't tell me exactly why it happened one cylinder had no compression left, it dropped to one cylinder way back in the mountains barely got out. they had to do rebuild on entire one side there was some damage from piston. Funny my 2012 It had 3200km with out any issues and this one lets go at 1000 but this new axys is great I have around 2000kms on it now.

My 163" 3" has around 1,600 miles on it running SLP pipe and can. Just gas and oil... zero issues. (well the snow flap is cracking near the top, and the running board paint has chipped off here and there)

My wife's 163" 2.6" has about 800 miles also running SLP pipe and can. zero issues.

GREAT SLEDS!!

155 2.6 800 2020 miles/110hours

Primary clutch rebuilt 3 times (weight rollers )
Track wear between windows.
Jackshaft broke (near secondary clutch)
Engine lost compression at 1800 miles. Rings were gone but Pistons looked good. They put a whole new top end in.
Spindle broke. My fault but make them bend not shatter like glass.
Stock a-arms are not fit for mountain riding.
Some issues with engine dying when trying to go into reverse.
SLP exhaust cracked both pipe and can, SLP sent me replacements of both very quickly.

All that being said, would not consider another brand. Polaris makes the best out of the box mountain sled.

That last comment is so damn funny I lol.
To me the best out of the box mountain sled should in no way have issues you just discribed. You need to take off the Poo glasses. Seriously!

It's called response and handling........
Your riding level obviously doesn't require it.
Thats ok! you don't need to feel bad about yourself.

Just because you don't understand the need for precise handling doesn't mean other people can't appreciate it.
(Hint, try riding outside your comfort zone)

You obviously have no clue how I ride. Don't feel bad that you purchased an inferior, unreliable sled. But hey, atleast you have warranty. Oh but it handles so well it must be the best. Hint, try thinking outside the Poo box.

Let's grow up guys, really?

Haha cat guys always have the inferiority complex.

It's hilarious getting them all worked up.

bought a new axys 163, went to parking lot 4 times, it started and ran for two hours the second trip....would not start and run the other trips...dealer after each trip, never found the problem...i need dependability more than any other single thing...gave it back to dealer, bought different brand...no problems:face-icon-small-sad
