How Many Miles on Your Axys RMK's/SKS?

Ok, most of us have a season on these now, what is the verdict on miles to reliability. I rode 2 sleds last season. My new 2016 SKS 155 2.6 Non ES and the other was my old 2012 ProRMK. I managed to get around 800 miles on the SKS with out ever bringing back to the dealer. It was spot on all season. My 2012 probably saw around 400 miles and no trips back for the 1st times in years. Only time will tell I guess. Any higher milage ones out there?

I think mine reads about 950 miles or so. One of the issues was the improperly calibrated speedo on early models. I think the actual should be closer to 1200 miles. I bent some flimsy lower a-arms but otherwise the sled was epic. I will probably ride it again this year. I never took it in for the speedo fix because I was having too much dang fun riding it.

I put 850 on one and 500 on other both on boost. My buddy did 2600 on boost last year

460 on my snow checked sks but it's going in for a new mono block beginning of October. There's a casting fla on the block not allowing the base gasket to seal properly.

Just under 900 miles in my 155x2.6 snowcheck. 1 track and 1 front track shock covered under warranty at 350 miles due to the shock coming apart, 2 stock lower a arms and 1 AI a arm, 2 AI rod ends, had to adjust TPS, TSS acted up so I had to gut it, front and rear bumpers, broken bumper tab, other than that couldn't keep the smile off my face. Just ordered raptor shocks for it.and going to run it hard 1 more year.

At 1000 km (621 miles) Polaris did a top end rebuild on my stock 163 3" at least it was covered under warranty but I have to say I'm the only person I met with problems

This is the first I've heard. What was the issue?

So far statistics appear better than the Pro. Lets hope some more chime in with positives.

I ride with 8 axys 800. Mine had the resistor cap think that want it called changed. At 300 mile. I got 700 miles on. My ridding buddy has 2400 mile on his with 3 bottom arms, 2 front bumper one back bumper, That's it. Most of the other axys have 700-1200 miles. Deal said only issue they have is that resistor thing. It's just above primary clutch in the black bag.

Only 700 miles on my axys, 850 on my Cat. Only issue with either sled last year was a resistor going out on my axys causing me to lose hand warmers and hi beams. Did have a bogging issue on the axys too, just needed to clean the exhaust valves. I've cleaned them twice now. They gum up fairly quick with VES plus oil. Motor/pistons still look good. Already have a better track record with the axys motor than I did with my 12 Pro, or 09 Dragon.

850 miles. No problems. Running SLP pipe into Diamond S Quiet Ti Muffler. Carl's clutching and shock revalve. Kmod 37" A-Arms and SLP Mohawk skis. It is the 2.6" by 163" model.

Our biggest problem sled this year was a 16 doo. Y-pipe fell off, hole new ecu, injectors, 9 belt in 1800 mile. But each time the dealer gave him a demo sled, and warranty all belts. They also gave him a smoking deal on a 850 doo. His sled pluse 2000g. If you have a good dealer ride any brand if they treat you like this.. my 2c.

1280 miles on the 16 Axys 163x 2.6 QD.

TPS issues dealer twice- living with the initial cold start- runs good after 1st start in the AM. ( no biggie)
37" K mod - TKI System - GGB Trail Can- and full wrap of Raptor Springs was on it right out of the box- ( Great Additions, worked on my 14 pro so just did it)
Overall no real issues on this sled, with the mileage it has for one season of 100% Mountain riding. The 2.6 is an outstanding flotation track!!!!!
Have the PIDD, works flawless ..

Zero complaints with the AXYS except the gum on the self cleaning power valves with using the VES Gold Syn, gives me something to do on it... Ha Ha
Put another 800 on my 14 pro this season also.........

S/C

Put 1100 miles on my 163x3. Adjusted the TPS myself, never took it in to the dealer for anything. Had a few quality control issues from assembly that I corrected but the motor was solid all season. Eric
