How many kids are too many?

Yep, two is plenty. I have enough love for both and both will be able to go to college.

Sorry quick rant and tangent... You don't have to have your parents pay to be able to go to college. My parents have not put a single penny to my education. I'm applying to pharmacy school right now. All it takes is some freaking hard work. Kids don't need their parents to give them everything in order to succeed. What ever happened to personal responsibility and GROWING UP!!! On a side note, it sure would have been easier if my parents paid for it all.

I disagree completely....we have a limited amount of resources in this world
and adding ridiculous numbers of children to the already over-populated
planet is wrong.....
Not to mention the $$$ I have to pay to educate them! How many taxes do
you think that family pays? ZERO...with all their deductions WE are paying for them...the same for insurance....Thay may be on a "family" plan, but, who do you think makes up the difference between what they pay the insurance
company each year and what health care really costs for them...WE make up
the difference...
The whold tax thing is backwards, why do you get to pay less taxes for having more people (children) using services????????

I have no desire to have more than my two children, and I agree that the tax code is not setup fair. That being said, this is still the USA right? Land of the free. Comunist China tells you how many kids you are allowed to have. Dumb and poor people are free to breed to their hearts content.

I think the people who say " It's their business how many kids they have." and " As long as they can provide for them", have blinders on.

1st.... Provide what?? Just because the guy has a lot of money is one thing, but what about time and attention? A few people already brought this point up and I totally agree. It seems very impossible to be able to have enough time, energy, etc. to give to 8 kids, let alone 19! Not to mention, if those kids are in public schools, I doubt the parents are paying their share of the taxes that go to public schools.

2nd.... I think if you don't see the population of people being or becoming a problem, then you truley are retarded. Having 19 kids and willing to make more " if God blesses them", is about as irresponsible as it gets.

Yeah, anyway, I had to vent.

Hell there are some f'ed up people who were single children. their parents might have had money but had no damn time for the kid, same as trying to split it 19 ways.
