Just read about some stupid idiots in Utah having 18 or 19 kids. Am I the only one that thinks the guy needs his wanker cut off?

They were talking about that on the radio today......if they can afford it and the kids aren't wacky....go for it.....nothing like having plenty of family around.
Word is...I guess they have a tv show.....they can afford it and the kids are well rounded....nobodies business but theirs....

I would agree, but how many families with a lot of kids do you know? How are the kids? The largest family I knew was 9 kids. That family was screwed up. One was my best friend, but they did more harm then good, as a whole.
I think a family that big, never really gets much individual attention for the children. I don't know....
I do know I couldn't handle it though, well maybe. It definitely would be a great source of manual labor!! I know that is what my dad thought about me... lol
I disagree completely....we have a limited amount of resources in this world
and adding ridiculous numbers of children to the already over-populated
planet is wrong.....
Not to mention the $$$ I have to pay to educate them! How many taxes do
you think that family pays? ZERO...with all their deductions WE are paying for them...the same for insurance....Thay may be on a "family" plan, but, who do you think makes up the difference between what they pay the insurance
company each year and what health care really costs for them...WE make up

The whold tax thing is backwards, why do you get to pay less taxes for having more people (children) using services????????
Two is plenty for me. We spend alot of time with them, and they keep us real busy with all of thier activities. With education and weddings coming up down the road, two will keep us plenty broke too. Have as many as you want, but be able to provide for them.

Seriously though...what are the chances that these people have 18 kids and they are on TV and they are normal?
Highly unlikely. Some days I feel I don't have enough time in the day to give my 3 kids the attention they deserve.
I don't think what they are doing is right. But, that is just my opinion!

I think the people who say " It's their business how many kids they have." and " As long as they can provide for them", have blinders on.
1st.... Provide what?? Just because the guy has a lot of money is one thing, but what about time and attention? A few people already brought this point up and I totally agree. It seems very impossible to be able to have enough time, energy, etc. to give to 8 kids, let alone 19! Not to mention, if those kids are in public schools, I doubt the parents are paying their share of the taxes that go to public schools.

that family actually lives in arkansas, not utah surprisingly.
I'd say 2 or 3 kids is plenty.. i dont know how anyone could handle more.

Personal preference aside and anyone that doesn't have kids need not reply..IMO....We also stopped at 2, but I feel we could have had more and been just fine. If a family can work it the right way, then the rest is just bs personal opinion.....it's their call!!

Tell this to my dad, see where that gets you, be ready to duck. I know plenty of people that came from large families and they are doing just fine.
Has for the idea of everyone only having 2 kids if everyone did this our population would go backwards and stagnate.
