How is everyone elses pro's holding together

Yep, it's very easy to strip the threads out on these. I ran a tap down the holes (M6?) and they work much better now. Another option would be to thread in some studs and use nylock nuts to hold the hood down.

Good suggestions. I have also noticed that the hood plastic around the two mounting bolt holes are no longer round. They are getting more oval each time I force the bolts back in. Some kind of reinforcment of those holes might be a good idea. I haven't thought of a solution to that yet.

My oil tank rubber band broked and the two rubber thingies running down the hood came off. Oh, the mountain grab bar loosened a bit due to my "unstucking" routine.

The 2 little tabs at the rear of my side panels don't tuck in anymore. They are too far out....any ideas how to make them fit again?

Maybe a heat Gun... take ur time...

Or maybe clamp them down for a week or two.. see if they go back to where their suppose to be..

OOOO Hold on you mean on the Panel it's self.... ya those were really never long enough..

I was talking about the ones on the console in.. To the top edge to the Hood.. Kinda in the Air box area.. of the hood

The first time I put my hood back on I had the wife push back on it to get the screws (next to bar riser) started, now it's okay. If you forget to put the push pins in the hood before installing the side panels it makes it harder to start the fasteners on the rear of the side panels. Guess how I found that out.

2011 Pro

My oil tank strap disenegrated basically and oil tank itself was weeping oil at the oil line..Also had a motor mount go bad.

All fixed under warranty!

well after pulling my pipe out of my front end pulled my bumper off.. that was defineately the problem.. bumper is off panels fit real good again.. going to replace the quick fasteners and bumper should make a huge difference..

also if you have ever hit anything check your pipe fitment.. mine was off and leaked oil everywhere in my belly pan.

also if you havent done it yet or arent doing it reguarly clean your power valves.. i didnt do mine in 800 miles.. i could not beleive how gummed up and how much carbon was built up

PV's getting dirty is usually a tuning issue unless your running cheap oil, I have never had to clean them when I mod sleds and run the proper amount of fuel/oil. maybe its different, just my 02

Not to be an a-hole but are you sure it is from your pipe, and not the hose from the powervalves? I know alot of people complained that that hose was what was making a mess in their belly pan, and some had a leaky pipe from a bad grafoil doughnut. it could be but just an FYI about the hose if yo don't already know about it.

happy riding to ya!

thanks for the tip on the hoses... 100 % certain it was coming from the pipe, when the bumper smashed in (and honestly it wasnt that bad just a ding) it pushed the bumper inwards which pushed agains the pipe sending it cockeyed.. huge mess.. check the hoses and blew out the T fitting on the powervalves as people have done.

i thought the ves gold oil was good oil also....am just not going to give Polaris any excuse to try and pull some bs about warranty if something did happen
