How does the cat skid like boost?

i dont think too many peeps know about the 2 stroke 2012 cat with a turbo on it those that do are tight lipped the stock 07-11 rear skid with boost work well but the kmod works better I here
 
The current skid works OK up to 12lbs setup right. But if you spend the money on a turbo your an idiot not to at least do the basic KMOD conversion. Although if you do a lot of big jumps or drops the Kmod may not be the best option but works. In the technical backcountry it kick as$
 
I did the conversion and it works, then I went to a 162 and added ice age rails. I think there is some benefit in the complete skid because the float shocks are limited. The ice age rails have a smoother transition in the front where it curves and puts more track on the ground than the stock rails but where I had a older sled with a turbo I couldn't justify spending that much more for the full skid. If I had the money laying around I would without thinking just because the basic conversion was so much better.
 
2012 Skid is totally different then current M's so hard to say. My stock 153 skid was fine up to 8 lbs of boost. Some wheeling but not terrible.
 
Its not really much different , new location and revalved shocks is about it

The slightest relocation can make a huge difference. As well as valving. My mod 09 m1000 would come over backward on me once in a while, I revalved the skid and it holds 1-2ft on climbs. I think the valving was so slow before it would collapse and didn't have enough rebound to return. With the faster rebound it can collapse but return which brings the nose back down and makes it way more controllable. Theres no way to really know how it will react.
