how do you guys organize your tools?

The organizers are great but i don't have nearly enough sockets to fill it up and it takes up 2 of the big drawers. Lots of wasted space.

Socket set stays in the socket set box, drill stays in drill box, small tools go in the toolbox... throw what I need in the truck and go...

found good ways for wrenches and stuff is to take and put drywall screws a certain distance apart across some plywood and space it all out, or a plywood system notched for the amount of sockets per drive size and metric or american. the magnetic strips for sockets work good, great for lugging around if the magnet is strong enough.

this is what i have nice doesnt take up much space and they lock in, just grab one end and pull the whole set out, they dont fall off, unless you forget to twist one:rolleyes:, for wrenches i bought a couple different sizes of small springs and set them in there holds them good and doesnt take much room, prybars built a holder off the side of bottom box and hung them off the side, everyones different good luck and have fun filling it up

ya those snap on ones are nice, i have them in my my small roll around box, but in a toolbox like yours it might be nice to have one that will let you lay them on there side so you can use one of your small drawers and leave your deeper drawers open for other tools, it all depends on how many tools you have and how much space you will need, i will agree some times its nice to spend a little extra, you get what you pay for that is for sure. craftsman has alot of nice tools thats half my tools,my other half are snap-on, blue point, and proto, they have some nice features with some of there tools but cost a right nut and some times they try for the left but dont let them, ebay has some good deals for tools, remember those companys have a lifetime garuntee on them, never had a problem replacing a tool with craftsman take it in and they will give a nice shiny new one no ?s asked, the other companys depends on your dealer some times there awsome others are dicks and try to void your warranty for improper use
