How are the pro's holding up

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. I know I would love how the Pro rides (Only 12' sled I havn't ridden unfortunately), but am concerned about reliability and durability. On the fence about an etec or a Pro., but would like to have somthing that can be beat to chit like my 09 M8 has and still come home.
Keep the posts coming people!

1,000 miles (ALL mountain) on mine. Best sled I've ever owned....fun to ride, no issues, no breakdowns, no complaints. I'm more into riding than I am into wrenching....so the fact that it is a TRUE lightweight mountain-specific sled from the factory is the balls. The fact that it actually works is even better! I

The only thing I would change would be to buy another so I wouldn't have to double my girl when she wants to come riding lol.

14xx miles on my Pro and it really hasn't missed a beat. I had it under clutched at one point and it kept hitting the rev limiter; easy fix. It cut out a couple times and they replaced the injectors; easy fix. That's it. All the talk about weak a arms, tunnels, bumpers, haven't affected me. I ride hard, but haven't wrecked any of them. Just hook the snow bunjee in the aluminum bracket and good to go. Don't drill trees at 30 miles per hour and you won't bend your arms or front bumper! Love the sled... it's just too easy some times. So predictable and consistent.

Got me here today and I ride it (600 miles so far). No issues other than I beat the boards to hard last weekend with a mallet and bent the gripers a bit. This is a known weakness and I forgot to be easy, I suffer from bull in a china closet syndrome!

south side of eureka?

I recently sold my 2011 with 1300 miles on it. I bent the tunnel, broke the primary, broken recoil, and the center shock blew a seal every 100-200 miles until I replaced it with an exit. It also had a miss at WOT that multiple dealers couldn't fix. Other than that, great sled, looking hard at getting a 13.

I have an 11 with 2800 miles, replaced the clutch at 2000 miles(preventive maintenance) another 11 with 1400 miles and a 12 with 500 miles. All stockers, all pull the rope and go. No issues whatsoever, none----nada, the way it should be!

I hate when people say "my friend" or " someone I know" cause half those stories probably aren't entirely true

If you had been on this forum more that 5 minutes you would know that Hardass is a stand up guy and his word is good.

Now, about the Pro.... best sled ever? sure, I love it. I just wish it ran. 560 miles on a 12 Pro, got towed out today by an old Skidoo. I have no idea where to start???? Intermittent electrical/fuel problem

I was told by my local dealer at the beginning of this season, that there were only 4 engine failures in the western United States that Polaris was aware of for the 2011's. (No idea whether that was really true) 911 miles on mine, and it is the easiest sled I have ever owned, no issues. I rode a turbo edge for last season, the Pro does not run like my turbo, but it is snappy at all levels and respectably fast against all of my buddies sleds. I would buy another one at this point, but I guess the older they get, the more we will see what they are made of. So far so good though.

Don't think I believe that. Tec here on the forum has had two engines go down on his sled.
