How am I getting more boost on the Apex?

I bought a Yamaha Apex with an mpi stage one super charger kit this year. Today I was riding around the house and I noticed that my boost gage wasen't showing any boost. So I want to the blow off vaulve on the inner cooler, and unhooked the vacume hose, and rode for about 15 seconds, and put the vacume hose back on. It turned out to be a bad fuse for my boost gage. No big deal. I started riding again and it seemed to have a lot more power. I looked at the boost gage, and I noticed I was running up to 17 pounds of boost. To the best of my anowledge, the stage one only runs up to 10 pounds of boost? I have had it up to the mountains twice and around the house a few times, and never had more then 10 pounds of boost. Any ideas how I got more boost would be appreciated. Thanks!

My house is around 4500 feet. I also ride in cooke city, it is about 7000-10000 feet. I've put about 50 miles on around the house and 120 in cooke city with the sled and never could run more then 10 lbs of boost in either places. The guy I bought it from said it was a stage 1, and that he got it from a dealer, that had mountain performance build it for a demo. Thanks

Yes it's a electronic gauge,what do I have 2 do 2 recalibrate it Thanks

should be instuction on web site but sounds like the gauge is out mabey something else ,if fuse was gone may have shorted out possibly moisture in it.
