How about the 3m film on the tunnel to keep snow off?

Has anyone tried this? Cuz i think it might work and it would be a cheap way to 10 to 15 pounds of snow while ridding..

I'm also in the dilemma for next year.

Only concern I see is the glue getting hot n maybe coming loose due to the heat exchangers running through the tunnel.

It be best to find out what temperature that glue is good too??

i was hoping this would help but i guess not so much. after having nosnos on my M and never ever having to kick them out i got spoiled. the pro boards are awesome for stock boards but i do have to kick them out in the deep quite often or when i'm carving alot, which is all the time:) gonna check into what fastlane has for the pro this summer or snow eliminators, think this will be the only mod i do. can't think of anything else i want or need to change, PRICELESS!!!

A tunnel wrap has definitely made a difference for me. It keeps the snow from sticking and building up. I'm not as concerned about the weight as I am about foot placement. With the stock tunnel, the snow would build "out" and it was hard to put my foot where I wanted.

In my experience the more “open” the holes in the boards, the more snow you’re going to see on the side of the tunnel. My Pro has less tunnel side snow buildup than my prior sled, which had a more open board profile.

We’ve tried a couple of things to help with the snow adhesion to the tunnel sides, with limited success. There is no silver bullet… 1.) Polish the tunnel or 2.) Apply a water proofer like Camp Dry.

I can also see how a wrap would help as well. Good luck

X2! I'm not at all a fan of wraps and their looks but I LOVE the AFX black tunnel wrap I did on mine and much less snow accumulation!

Have FUN!

I also did a tunnel wrap on my sled to stop the snow build up on the side and to protect the tunnel from wear. It really does improve the snow from sticking, it still will slightly accumulate, but brushes right off. Here is a pic of my tunnel.

In this Pic you can see that it still sticks, but I don't have to kick it off, just BRUSH it off, wayyyyy nicer! Now all I need is some Better Boards

When I wrapped the tunnel on my Doo, it definitely helped prevent the snow from sticking as bad. Much easier to kick loose.

which wrap was that? specific name?

Polished tunnel doesn't work but sure looks nice when there's no snow on the tunnel. There is no answer its the heat exchangers they should of been in the middle of the tunnel.

I did use the 3M film on my sled last season... Worked very well. Expensive though and the Arctic FX tunnel wraps are 90% as tough for a third of the $$
