January jobs report says the us added 467,000 jobs last month, more people are coming back to work to a healthy, robust economy according to Biden. See? Diaper boy is fixing everything. Now, a pessimistic person such as myself would ask, how many of those jobs are actually new jobs, and how many of those are jobs that are simply old jobs trying to get up and running again. Reopening a closed business is not "adding" a job. As far as more people actively looking for employment, I would ask how many are people coming out of retirement or getting a second job because inflation is forcing them to do so. Their estimate of 6-7 % inflation seems a little low, especially with food. A good example is a can of soup from a large chain store was 1.58 2 weeks ago. Yesterday it was 1.98, that is 25.5%. Same product at the local grocery store chain was 2.39, now 3.69 that is 54.5%. Yes, it is getting built back better alright. FJB
