hottdogger on a 2005 m6

I use the muffpot. It is mounted vertical just before the bend into the silencer. I use 2 hose clamps. It seems to work very well there.

will a hottdogger work with the heat shield and how welll does the food acually cook and is there any tricks to use while cooking
No, not very well. Try to get it on bare pipe, I mount mine on the can. Takes a while to get hot, but works. The closer you get to cyclinder the faster it cooks,

We use to rap our food in aluminum and it worked ok... a friend told us he started putting left overs in vacuum sealed bags and it worked great. We made burritos one night for dinner and made 10 extras, put 2 per vacuum bag then frozen them. Put them frozen in hotdogger or muffpot and then by lunch time they were ready to eat.:)

we usually line the pot with tin foil then poor in a package of those "Little Smokey" sausages, or whatever theyre called, and a bottle of BBQ sauce and fold the top of the foil in and put the lid on and ride. very good when done, only problem is when your riding you gotta watch behind ya cuz once they get cookin the smell of the BBQ can attract some freinds, your ridin buddies will follow you everywhere you go.
