hotdogger and a XP?

Went today to go put my hotdogger on my XP and ran into a problem. NO ROOM! I am wondering if anyone has pulled it off? Can you post pictures?

I had a bit of a problem too. You just have to install it loose and slide it back and forth until you find the sweet spot where the hood fits decent.

I am thinking of strapping it to the HPS can and seeing how that works.

Probably smarter to put it on your buddies Cat or Yammi. That way you won't have to hurry and eat your lunch before noon if you want something warm.

Do you still have room for the spare belt also? Or did you have to put that some where else?

i put mine on the frontside of my lite weight can..i used a t-clamp or some call them a turbo clamp,they hold better then a hose clamp..works good and easy to get to..

mine is on my hps can works great then you can adj the chain to.

Thanks for the replys. But I want to keep my stock can. Any body get it to work with a stock can?

Here is where mine is it is a pain in the butt to get it out, melts gloves, so I carry just leather gloves with me to get it out when it is ready.

Hot dogger

I have mine in the same place as L2R's.....the hot dogger fits just fine there....someone with big hands might have to take the belt off, but I can get to mine no problem. It doesn't seem to cook nearly as fast as others have though...I heard people were putting them on their HPS can......I'm curious how Sideways?

Go with the HOTPOT (comes with a nice handle) or the Muff Pot. Both are much better than hte hotdogger as they are made from stainless and not aluminum.. Easy clean and you dont get that nasty aluminum on everything

I mounted mine on my xp just after y pipe before pipe bends... Snug with spare belt but works great. Have to really ride hard to get it to heat up.. Im going to cut out the aluminum heat shroud on my pipe the same size as POT to get better heat transfer
