Hoppin' in the snow???

I was out doing some hunting over the weekend and I notice that my Megacab hops like a rabbit when trying to get through deep snow. What causes this and how can I fix it? It's pretty bad, didn't notice it last year and this year I've got new tires and air bags.

Its called "spring wrap" your new tires and air bags do not flex much, so when you give it some fuel you are really twisting the axle somewhat. My dodge does it all the time. Just use 4-low and keep off the throttle!

Yep, spring wrap causing wheel hop. A great way to tear stuff up, bust U-joints, bend shocks, etc. Better shocks will help but usually the only cure is traction bars of some sort.

I will 100% agree on a set of traction bars for your rig! They work great and help prevent spring wrap! Are you running oversized tires (other then stock)? If yes, then you definitely need a set for sure! Best money I have ever sent.

axle wrap, as mentioned the axle twists a little, sometimes a lot more throttle or less throttle helps. These help too:

my dura max does this also, especially the front, you either get after it and spin em or back off
