Please see the photo of my right front hood fastener. The other three fasteners fold down tight to the hood. The front left (left as though you are sitting on the sled) folds forward/to the front of the sled.
I know this is anal but if I don't ask I'm likely to hook a branch this winter with the fastener loop sticking out. When I fold the fastener forward, it pops back straight out/perpendicular to the hood. I know I should have caught it at inspection...but that ship has sailed.
With that,
1. Which is the correct direction for the loop to be?
2. Any suggestions to get it to lay flat?
The local dealer was out of the fastener ($12)
