Was watching it on CNN as it happened. When the Sheriff was called away from the news conference .. I was thinking, this is it, were going to hear the kid is dead. Glad it was a happy ending for all.
When it was announced he was found alive, what do you think was the first thought that went through Wolf Bullsh*tter's mine .. was it 'thank god he's alive' or 'we just wasted 2 hours of news time for this'. By his initial reaction (non-verbal), bet it was the latter .. friggin media.

From what I heard on the news this morning, it probably end so happily for the dad, doesn't look good.

I take back everything bad I said about Wolf .. just watched his interview with the family. When Wolf asked the dad to ask the kid why he didn't come out of his hiding spot when they were calling his name, balloon boy said to his dada "you guys said that we did this for a show".
Bet is started smelling real bad in that room, because it looked like the dad was sh*tting himself and the wife gave hubby a 'what the hell do we do now - this was your idea' look.

9News has the family home video of the "accidental" balloon launch. Seems to me the kid would be screaming and probably cursing as much as dad if he were stuck inside the thing as it lifted off.
